It has some modifications for the Neon crank trigger which is a HEP and non standard from the normal MegaSquirt.
Fortunately they are compatible with our HEP so it should work just fine we just don't need the extra coil driver and will have to change the configuration in software to make the crank trigger to use a TBI distributor instead of a 420a crank trigger. This same area of the configuration has to change in order to use the SRT4 crank trigger anyway though.
You can also get the kits from a number of other places and do all of the mods yourself. I actually have an older MS 2.2 board that I am modifying to do what I need with some extra add on boards, etc.
I think the main reason it is neon only is because they dedicate their support to Neons. In order for it to work you would need to reflash the chip with some modifications rather than having it run with the code they provide.
