Mex Phantom at the track

After changing the headgasket I was afraid to go to the track. New mods that I wanted to test: srt intercooler and underdrive pulley.

My previous best was a 15.119s, that was with stock IC, Grainger valves on MAP and turbo, boost set at 17psi, timing at 12°.

Now without Graingers the boost hovered around 14psi, timing was at 10° and ran 15.051s, 15.057 and 15.055s. Other mods are no balance shafts, AFPR, TurboXS RFL BOV, 17" wheels. This track is at 7000ft altitude (stock SRTs run 14.6s here). My best time did not show speed :( but in other runs I avareged 145-146kmh (90mph), 60ft was 2.28s, the other runs also were in the 2.2 range. Here is the ticket: http://turbosmx.com/phantom15_05.JPG

I want to try boost at 18psi with the extra injector method, I already have the adjustable switch, but can not find any cold start injectors from Saab or VWs. 2.8 and 3.1 V6 Chevrolet engines do have them but I see nobody here uses them, should I try them? or raising the gasoline pressure will be enough?

Saludos!

Do you have chrysler auto interests in mexico, and I like the magnum especially. Aquellos (?) are my favorites, but we don't have them in the US. And my spanish is very bad. I only have (?) two years in spanish.

I've not used my spanish since high school. And that was about 14 years ago. I can't remember most of what 3 years I had in high school. But I think I got most of this translation. :thumb:

Correct me if I totally messed up, Trevor.

Wink
Yeah you're pretty close to wha tI was trying to say, i may have messed up a little but i was trying to say

"you have some interesting chryslers in mexico, and i especially like the magnum. They're my favorties, but we don't have them in america. And my spanish is really bad, I have only two years in spanish"

Just trying to put some of my education to use :) I'm paying for it so I better put it to use!
lol. I'm just really surprised that I remebered that much.
i really think something like no2 would be great up there in that atmosphere because it doesnt matter what reletive density the air is.

4300 feet elevation kills me here.

Won´t my car overboost? Right now boost is at 14psi, sometimes almost hitting 15psi. I´ve read that when using NO2 boost tends to creep 2-3psi.

Some videos of my car, not the day of my 15.05s, this is another day when the track was slippery:
