Hi all. Did my first oil change, and I would not be surprised if this was my PT first oil change. I got three weeks ago w/ only 6500 on it, with signs of lack of love and care. Anyway, I have a noticable amount of motor oil in the OEM air box. The foam filter from the air box that feeds the tube into the heads is soaked w/ oil ! About 1/8-1/4 inch lining the bottom of air box, and the OEM paper filter is black within.

What is the cause ? And, how do I fix it ?

Thanks Rich

Its ok. Oil is soppsed to blow into the airbox from the line off the Valve cover. Now if you find oil where you can turn the airbox over and fill a quart bottle you have a problem, but an icky foam filter and crud on the bottom of the box is perfectly normal.
