So here is the skinny. Negative battery terminal connector has a large wire and a small wire coming out of it where it connects to the battery. Where does the smaller wire run to? Its oxidized all the way thru and broke while the engine and tranny where being removed and re-installed.

I have included a crudly drawn picture due to not having a photo of the wire. If someone could tell me what it goes to I would greatly appreciate it. Photos would also be accepted :thumb:

Small ground wire should go to the body (fender) near the battery.

Good idea to check all the ground straps while you are fixing this one. Very ODD problems can creep up, all caused by bad grounds!

Katlaw is correct. My grounds were so bad I had to buy a groud wire kit from FWD.

sounds good. I was planning on replacing all of the grounds at some point but I suppose now is better than later. Thanks a bunch!
