I would love to get that O24, unfortunately its too far away and has no title. I wonder if getting one for a car that old would be a problem...

In Mich. you can apply for a builders title. The Sec. of State can give you a form to fill out with all the info & numbers off the individual parts ; the body, engine, trans, & have reciepts for each with where you got it, when , & the part ID # on the reciept. A Police Officer or trooper comes out and checks everything out & if all the safety equipment that was originally on the car- like lights, seat belts, brakes, horn, wipers etc. work, then he'll sign the form
you take it to S. of State's office & they'll mail you a "Builder's Title". Similar to building a kit car. I think you can also tow it on a trailer to a Police Station or Trooper post if that's easier for you & you don't want to wait around 'till they can come out to your location. That 's what I did in Macomb County a few years ago.
