I'm hoping someone out there has a pic of the GLHS rad/intercooler out of the car. Need to see how the intercooler mounts to the radiator to know if one I'm looking at is correct.

Also, was the GLHS radiator smaller than the GLH-T radiator?

the glht was not intercooled.
yes the radiator is smaller when the intercooler is attached
No need now, I think I've solved this mystery! After the link tryingbe sent and going out and looking at some of my cars, I've determined that his pics are of a standard L-body radiator and a VNT intercooler, instead of the factory GLHS rad/intercooler that he says.

The GLHS TII radiator/Intercooler combo is unique.

The TII intercooler (like the daytonas, other TII cars pre-90) bolts to the radiator, via brackets that bolt to the top/bottom of the radiator with hex headed bolts, and to the intercooler with flange head (flush mount) allen head bolts.

The radiator is indeed smaller than a non-intercooled/ N/A radiator, as they still utilize the stock radiator mounting points in the l-bodies.

Also, the intercooler NEEDS to be bolted to the TII GLHS radiator, as the brackets that attach the radiator to the intercooler also are part of the mounting system, having the pins and rubber isolators on them. If using an FMIC, and want the space the GLHS radiator provides (so no cutting/less cutting is involved) then a ridgid piece of metal will need cut out in the shape of a square "C" and then bolted in place of the intercooler, to add that structure to the mounting brackets that the intercooler provides. Otherwise the bottom mount will bend under any stress (weight of the radiator full, and bumps from the road) and has the potential to swing out on that side, if it pulls down far enough.

I've heard of some running them without said "support bracket" and being fine, but when I tore my TII daytona rad/intercooler combo down, those brackets were all too easy to bend/deform.
