I would post this in the suspension/steering forum but I sorta need an answer by this afternoon if possible.

The U-joint that connects the steering wheel and the steering rack together is totally beat on my car with excessive play, but I don't know how to get the pin out to replace the part.

I tried to hammer it through with a screwdriver and hammer, but it wouldn't budge. Any suggestions?

an easier way to do it is to just rmove the steering coupler as well. it is just 1 1/2 inch nut
i had to couse i couldnt get to the roll pin. and alot easier
