how do i get the tensioner on my 87 2.2 to tighten? do i just start the engine with the bolt a little tight so it wedges the off center thing on the inside of the pully tight?

2 wrenches. I use a special thin crescent wrench I keep around just for the tensioner, fits on it perfectly. Once you tighten the belt up somewhat, sink the 15mm bolt to hold it there. Dont make the belt too tight or it will fray and probably make a squealing noise. You know it is too tight if it starts to float off the cam gear towards pass side.
