Hey! Any recommendations for a new cheap turbo for an 87 daytona Shelby z?
I believe the turbo is a garret t3 the car is inter cooled so not sure if that changes anything.
Ive found acouple cheap ones on eBay but none seem to have the coolant drain / feed lines, which the oem one has. If anyone has any recommendations on what to get I’d appreciate it!

Yeah,
Get someone to rebuild yours, the aftermarket ones are not great quality, unless you like changing them out every year or so. New and cheap is a recipe for heartache. Don't buy the knockoffs! If you can't wait, you might be able to find a decent aftermarket or Garrett CHRA (centersection). Then you attach your exhaust housing and compressor cover to it, and install in your vehicle.
Garrett TB0352, TB0371, or TB0378 is the part # of your turbocharger. It is important to retain the watercooled aspect of the turbo. That is one reason your original survived 35+ years.

ok thank you! How would I find out what my part number is? Or are those 3 interchangeable?
All I need is the core I just don’t want to get the wrong one!

Yours should have a tag on the compressor cover (cold side) of the turbo. All of those are interchangeable #'s.
I'm, a little skeptical of the $290 one (first link) being a "real" Garrett "new" CHRA, but you never know until you contact them.
