I had to replace the oil pressure line to the turbo on my SC this weekend. I had to pull both the switch for the oil light and the pressure sending unit for access.
After the job was done, the gauge shows no oil pressure and the light does not come on.
I unplugged both wires and got no change.
I grounded the sending unit wire and pegged the gauge.
I squished the connector for the sending unit to assure good contact and got no change.
What are the chances that I managed to kill the sending unit?
The wire has to be good. Grounding it maxed out the gauge.
