I have a 1988 LeBaron 2.2l Turbo I and the turbo seems a little slow on the uptake and only reaches to 4 PSI. (Slowly creeps up to 4, sometimes 5psi.)

The car had a vac leak and was running on 3 cyl. for a while, but i took that in to get fixed. it is now running on all 4 cyl. without a vac leak, but it just doesn't seem to boost as it should. What I've been told by alot of T1 owners, it should spool fairly quickly, but it doesn't. it just slowly climbs and ends at 4psi.

Any idea what is needed to fix this?

I honestly do not know exactly, I had the boost gauge installed. (When it comes to stereo installs I know my way around, Vac lines scare the crap out of me cause I don't know anything about them.) But I believe he "Tapped" into the vac line near the intake.

I'll get some pictures up of it in a few minutes.

Is that the same routing as on the Turbo 1? as much as i wish I had a T2 I am stuck with T1.
