Ok, so I have an 87 Shelby Z and every time i open the throttle and boost up to about 14psi, the car will cut off the fuel supply and the little red overboost light on the dash will flash quickly, then as soon as the boost drops back down to like 10psi, the fuel will flow again... This is becoming very annoying, and im wondering how to fix this... I may have a vacum leak in the line running off of the wastgate due to the hoses all being so old and cracked and shit. So, If my wastegate is functioning properly, I should not overboost... correct?

You can't go above 14 psi. Your map sensor only goes to about 15 psi. After that you will quickly lean out and do some serious damage. Fuel cutoff is there for a reason. Set your G valve to a lower pressure. If you don't have a G valve then your wastegate soleniod isn't working right. Trace the vacuum lines to the solenoid. You probably have a leak.
