Good evening everyone. I am in the process of reassembling my ‘89 CSX after a turbo build, clutch job, coilover suspension and brake upgrade. I’ve got the transaxle back in yesterday and finished getting the cables and intermediary shaft installed. I surprisingly haven’t had any questions up to this point to ask but I’m getting ready to reinstall the subframe and rack & pinion tomorrow and I realized I don’t know which port is the high pressure and which is return.

It appears both ports are the same size so that doesn’t help. I’m thinking the red port is high pressure and orange is my return low pressure line? I forgot to mark my lines when I removed them from my old rack, so I did this to myself. Thanks for any help!

You are correct. Recently replaced both my lines (TRW rack); the pressure is the upper and return the lower (note the return line crosses over the pressure line a few inches down from the rack).
