In order to put a manual tranny into a 1990 daytona automatic how would I get the wiring to work for the reverse lights and are there any other items that would need to be modified for it to work properly.
You should have a similar switch on the manual for your reverse lights and you will need to ground the neutral switch wire so that you can start the car.
If I was home, I'd be able to point you to some links describing it in more detail.
the auto car use a 3 wire neutral safety switch the center wire runs into the car and gets wired to the clutch pedal switch or just ground it if not using the clutch pedal switch.
The other two wires are the reverse light wires they get run to the top of the manual trans where there is a 2 wire reverse light switch.
