I've got a freshly rebuilt hx35 turbo. . .for it to fit and flow right should i cut the flange off of my ported and polished exhaust manifold and replace it with the split style t3 flange or should i buy the bullseye housing that the dsm users are buying?

Would the housing fit between the manifold and firewall? I would love to have the .53 a/r of that housing instead of a .89. With the housing i could also have an external wastegate.

Can someone please chime in? I've already posted a similar thread, but with no luck.

Thanks guys!

I would just tap the manifold for the T3 flange bolt pattern and call it good. Some have ground back the divider in the turbo housing to make it work closer to a single scroll.

If the Bullseye housing would work, I think that it would be a great benefit to spool-up and over all performance. Going external W/G on a turbo that small is a waiste of time, money and space in your engine compartment IMO.
