Try setting and releasing the e-brake several times. Sometimes also several good blows with a plastic/rubber mallet will loosen the brake dust that sometimes binds it up.

Yeah . Removed nut and it slipped right off. Now to try and get bolt plate and drum apart. At least brakes look good. just needed adjusting.

the drum and hub are a manufactured assembely
do not try to pry or beat them apart

some of the material of the stud shank has been peened down over the face of the drums if they are o-e's

they are not ment to sepperate easily
you need to grind off the little bits of metal on the stud shanks to remove the drums

but first , do you really need drums ?

because the replacement drums don't come with the hubs installed like the mopar ones did

you will need to remove those peened bits of metal before driving the studs out of the hub & drum or the holes in the hub will become enlarged meaning you'll never get the studs to fit back into the hubs tightly

if not done correctly you can end up with studs that simply drop into the drums when you try to put the wheels on,
you could get the wheel on and never be able to tighten the nuts correctly .
or, you may never be able to unthread the nuts as the stud turns

my own learning experiance was the stud dropping into the drum when I tryed to put the wheel back on..

uncool result

aftermarket drums were 15 bucks
o-e's were 90.. for a reason
