Forgive me if this is a stupid question. However, I recently bought some bushings from Johnny. One of the sets was for the frame to control arm bushings. I was thinking the other night and shouldn't there be a bushing for where the control arm connects to the axle, or are they welded on? I've never looked.

Huh? there is no REAR Control arm. Only a rear beam axle. So you have bushings that connect that to the frame. Then the Panhard bar keeps it located laterally.

I suppose I'm being crude.

I understand that the track bar controls the solid axle laterally. I just call it a control arm because I wasn't sure what it is called. However, the bars that attach the axle to the frame. Are they welded to the axle or do they use bushings to connect to the axle?
