So my 3.8L blew (random oil dump while driving) and I swapped in a low mileage 3.3L in it's place.
But I've been finding the 3.3L seems extremely sluggish compared to the 3.8L. This got me thinking about some reasons. Could this be a tuning issue due to the ecm?
I know the 3.3/3.8 run different ecms judging by part number, so would running a 3.8 ecm on a 3.3 make it sluggish?

Found some things out.

1. My new 3.3l is a 1992, meaning it's the lowest powered 3.3 produced, due to a different intake design.
2. If 3.3s are like 3.0s, this engine would have also had different injectors.

In theory, this engine shouldn't even be running right now.....
