Driving past my Chrysler Dealer yesterday I noticed that he had about 20 Cruisers on the lot. Normally he has only 5 or 6.

Have sales suddenly taken a nose dive? Or has production been ramped up? Or both?

Does any one know last months actual unit sales and today's inventory?

Its not that sales are slow, sales on the Cruiser just match that of regular cars now. Before there was more orders then the factory could make. Now its stable like any other model.

I think that its a combination of market saturation (those that REALLY wanted a PT, have one!, those that don't own one yet are waiting for either the DC2, OR convertible perhaps, AND the fact that the factories have NOT slowed down production too much, to adjust.

For January 2003, the sales numbers showed that 9,443 SOLD.
