I was blathering over on the Shadow think tank thread about how I feel the different runner lengths keep more heat in 1 and 2 aside from severely limiting their flow. I wish we had a unit like this that was fully cast from the ni-resist. Do you do any daily driving of your car with this setup? I wonder if anyone used one for any significant period of time. It would be cool to find out they survive ok with proper preheat and annealing.

I had one on my GLHT for quite a while. Mine was flame spray welded though. Mike @ FM made a kit out of them. Many others before and after made their own.

Cool! That's the first I've hear of deposition welding being used on anything turbo Dodge related. We used to have an old EDW lathe that was used for shaft repair.

Yours seems a bit shorter than the one for sale. There is not much room behind a L-body, it has to be pretty tight when this was in there.
