Recently picked up this wrecked project from a long time friend. It has been sitting for over 12 years and has 87K miles. I will be combing through boxes and totes to get this car back whole. as well as trying to learn what to and what not to do with these 2.2 turbos. and 3.0 V6's.

Hey that thing looks to be pretty decent overall! Look forward to seeing your progress!
Nice project, looks like it needed or needs some straightening to the front end. Sweet that the Shelby items are still there

Just made the long trip home to Oregon from Vegas. Time to assess what all needs to be done. Just started fitting some parts i have found on my travels. There are some parts i still need to track down. More updates coming. Recently scored a spare 2.2 from a Chrysler TC to possibly start rebuilding.

Over the weekend i parted out a 92 LeBaron w/ a 3.0 for a guy who needed the front clip off of it. i took everything i needed mostly hardware and a decent 3.0. Was all a huge win. Noticing there was a rather large diameter front sway bar on the Baron. The 87 csx stock sway bar measured 1.040" the Barons sway bar was 1.125" would be nice to locate a rear sway bar and the fatter 1.25" 89 CSX sway bar. Also looking at the front brakes on the CSX and i cant help myself to think they need to be a bit bigger. There has to be some brake upgrades that are either a direct bolt on or some fab work. Still Keeping with the 15" wheels. Pulling the sway bar led me to notice the passenger side lower control and strut are bent back. Is there any benefit to switching sub frame K members to the newer style control arms like from an 89 or later?

If you want to use that sway bar it believe you may have to swap the k frame (you want a 90 and up with cast arms) and arms, go ahead and swap knuckles too, then order 92 Daytona iroc 11inch rotors and calipers to match and there’s your bolt on brake upgrade. Once done 15 inch is the smallest that can fit.

Thanks for the heads up. do i need the actual knuckles or just the caliper mounting brackets? i have the calipers, mounting brackets , pads and 11'' rotors all on order.
the sway bar seems to be the same shape just bigger diameter. my RT front strut/control arm assembly seems pushed back a lot. i have replacement struts and a new set of lower control arms on order as well. i really hope the K member is not bent.
