Here they are, mounted real good. Fits perfect between the bumper and the core support. I was able to move the AC cond a few inches to the right to make room for the pipes where the factory IC was mounted. I'm using a 87 Shelby Z Radiator, my GLHS rad is broken. I will have to so mods to the alt adjusting bracket to make the lower hose fit. I'm not finished yet...

very nice work, how long did it take to install? I'm looking to do this to my glhs charger as well but it looks as though you did a lot of cutting to the car where the end tanks on the intercooler are, as well as cut the intercooler? exactly what did you need to cut to make it fit and how are you mounting it in there? Let us know when you get a chance to test it out! i'd love to hear the results.

Nice! I was thinking about going this route in my Daytona! Do you think the srt-4 cooler is better than our stock ones?
Yes, it is as far as flow and efficiency. Out flows with I beleive similar efficiency if not better than our 'coolers.

Update,,,the only problem I've had so far in the area where the alt tension bracket is, I had to remove alot of metal off the bracket because the IC tube points right into the bracket. It works OK for now,,I used some pvc plastic pipe and some hard rubber 90 degree elbows from V6 TB to airbox cars.
Right now the pipe from the IC to the TB is coming up from behind the fan at about a 45 degree angle. I might try to work it across the bottom then up to the TB.
I had to remove some sheet metal on each side of the rad/AC condensor area, the AC condensor moved the right just fine and I'm using a Daytona T2 rad,,my GLHS rad sprung a leak..

that looks awesome man....have a question though. has anyone every thought about removing the tow pieces on the front bumper that are sitting in fron of the intercooler? Do they have to be there? Iw as thinking about doing it to my glhs to see how well it worked. Thanks

Quick thread jack...how do you post pictures with the thumbnails like that? I looked in the FAQ, but came up with only the "img" thing that is in the advanced reply section.

BTW, I like the IC, that looks REALLY nice!

How did you make the connection on the passenger side, the one with the oval fitting, I've got one that I will be putting in my Omni GLH. I got a price from dodge for the plastic SRT-4 piece and it was close to 100.00.

looks good
there were a couple different ALT brackets made throughout the years. Maybe a different one might give you some more clearance. It's hard to tell which one you have on there. I have the long metal one that has a long metal bolt going through it with an adjuster nut on it. I also have the kind that has a big rubber circle in the middle to adjust everything. That one im not using if you want it. Just an idea. Looks good

no you prob don't need it there, nor do you need the bumper support that bolts to the front of the car with those 4 big bolts. But im sure it will keep your airdam nice and tight.

Regular round hose will fit, just need to make two half moon pieces to push on the hose clamp where the oval is.

Kevin Isenberg did this for his 85/86/87 Charger (don't remember the year). It looks awesome, as does his entire car.

I've got a 1peice intake and an SRT IC on the way for my '85, can't wait! Just gotta figure out a way around that darn T1 radiator, maybe I'll just have to move the mounts and shift it over to the pass. side some - or pull the dusty 'ol GLHS rad I have outta my garage back in cali and try puttin that in :D I just dont see anywhere to run the drivers side connection back to the turbo or intake w/o major cutting...
