Hello,
The vehicle is a 1986 LeBaron sedan with 2.2 TBI. Several years ago I upgraded the steering knuckles so that I could use bolt-on wheel bearings instead of pressed on. The calipers were upgraded to 1991 Acclaim style at the same time. I had been chewing up axles and yesterday performed an in-depth inspection and found that, somehow, I have different steering knuckles on the car! The one on the pass side has a shorter distance between the tie rod bolt and the axle center line than the one on the drivers side. Acclaims and Shadows are very rare down these parts but minivans are available at the junkyards. Would the knuckles from those fit?
Many thanks in advance.
