the heat shield in the exhaust tunnel in the shadow rattles real bad. i've tried everything from bending it to putting rtv all over it then putting it back on. im looking at some of this stuff online, almost like the dynamat for sound in a car but its heat resistant and fire retardant. would that be ok to use to replace the heat shield? if i do that, im thinking i should use header wrap on that section of exhaust to cut down on the head comming off the pipe.would this combo work good? all opinions needed

If it's heat resistant and fire retardant i imagine it would work. So i should imagine yes, that combo would most likely work
