I am in the middle of converting my 1987 t1 log shadow to t2 status, and after rotating the compressor housing and making an adapter to get rid of the 90 degree elbow on the inlet, and moving the waste gate far enough from intake so it will not hit, my waste gate actuator rod is almost 1/2" off.

is this as simple as making it adjustable with a deep nut and threading the rod to adjust the reach?

if it reached before i did this and now it doesn't am i missing something in the big picture? or will the wastegate actuator still work fine?

thanks guys just making sure with this cause i dont want to have to find out its not working properly once the head/manifolds/turbo assembly is on my car

thanks,
kyle

I think your gonna have to make it adjustiable - or find one that is

suposedly a lot of log motors came with the adjustiable rod - but many also did

you deff can't pull it out 1/2 inch - that won't work as it won't have any travel left in the diaframe
