1987 Sundance T2 motor with T2 manifolds. Using T1 turbo but now have 3 inch swing valve for T2 which does not allow for EGR tube. Can I just remove EGR and block it off with a plate????? Not sure where to go with this. I do not need to worry about emissions in Iowa. Any thoughts or advice is appreciated. Thank You!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The car had a T1 originally Now a T2 But the turbo and everything bolted to it is for a T1. So what I need is a adapter? Could I just take the egr tube and egr out and block it off?? Or is it not that easy?

Could I just take the tube off and place a plug in it's place? The swing valve does not have a outlet for the tube.

Yes, it is that easy. Just block off the EGR ports. By TI turbo, I assume you mean early TI garrett? This is a blow through setup now?

Good I was hoping it would be easy. I know with the older V-8's I took the egr off and blocked it. Just want to make sure I don't screw something else up. Thanks for the reply.
