Hi everyone.. I'm having a few issues with a automatic 86 t1 dodge lancer.. The car drives alright when its cold and warm. But when it gets up to temperature the transmission binds up. Its like i put the car in drive, let off the brake, give it gas, and it feels like someone is pushing the brakes. It wont move. If i floor it the car barely moves. If i let it sit for a while, and let it cool down the transmission works fine. Any ideas?

not really sure? I know the trans was rebuilt a year ago. It was fine then. This problem just started to show up.

Is there a way to check to see if the bands are adjusted? or check for cross leaks in the vb?

or check for cross leaks in the vb? only if you have pressure gages and a comprehensive understanding of automatic transmission operation
