I have a 31th three speed transmission in my 199 Caravan. I know there is another name for this transmission and noticed I am the only one using the name 31th, however that was told me by Autozone when I ordered my rebuild kit. What is the proper name for this transmission? Is it an A413? Would be helpful as I plan on ordering a modification kit.

its a 31TH, basically the same as the older a413, just different bell housing shape/bolt pattern. Also it has all the best parts to start with(little better than the turbo a413). Buy an "ASG" a413 service manual online for ~$15, it will be the best money you ever spent, and set the clearances tight
