Hello. I have a 1989 dodge Daytona 2.2 liter that would be a good project or for parts. Car hasn’t run in years. Keys lost. I have the title and have owed the car since 1989. Car is located in Manville N.J. Don’t have a clue what to ask for it. I’m sure someone needs parts if that’s the route to take but would hate that to happen. If anyone has some guidance on price to ask or interest let me know. Thanks.

edit: car has T-tops, leather interior, digital dash, cd player. Every available option in 1989. I believe t-top gaskets did leak overtime. The only part missing is the A pillar cover on the driver side. Thanks.

Looks beat from the photos. Unless you're willing to get it running and moving it's a $500-1000 in my opinion and that's only if the floors and firewall aren't rotten.

Considering t-top surrounds etc are unobtanium and it's missing the front left one on door.... It isn't worth much.

Well on a good note, being a 89 it will have some of the best parts Chrysler made form this era. One owner car doesn't hurt either. T-top car has lots of unique parts on it. Dual pivot crossmember, SMEC underhood electronics, TII CB, 11" 4 wheel vented disk brake car, large F&R solid rear anti-sway bar, one piece knuckle/adapter, 16" CS pumper wheels, best a555 tranny they made. Rear louvers which some people love. You can absolutely bet the bank at a minimum, the brakes and fuel system (tank, fuel pump, and hanger assembly at a minimum) are going to need servicing before this thing ever runs again. Makes you wonder why it was parked in the first place? Of course replacing the cylinder locks and such too. Makes it a bit hard to even load it onto a trailer if you can't steer it. I think the price that Tonatom stated are good ballpark #'s.
It would probably help you to list mileage, leather or cloth interior. Does it have AC, (stuff that the pictures you listed don't show). Maybe a couple more pics of the interior, underhood, etc. Pictures speak a thousand words. Have rodents/moisture found their way into interior? One good whiff should tell you that. The more honest info you can list, the easier it will sell.

It's not too bad to replace the cylinder, and I think you can still send your VIN in to get a key made for you. It makes a much better sale if you can say if it starts and rolls, even if you have to use starter fluid.
