turbo dodge florida dead?

Not much happening down here. Most the guys from Florida joined the FL-SDAC facebook group, but it's not very active. Every once in a while, someone will talk about organizing a meet, but it never happens.

Unfortunately I just don't have time for anything like that. I work 7 days a week. I have to take a vacation day to go to the Garlits show in November every year! Hopefully one day! It would help to have a running TD, too.

I am still around, I have accumulated a fleet of TD's too. Two of my buddy's who live in the same city as I do have TD's as well. It's a shame there seems to be no interest anymore in Florida meet ups.

Well, if I had a running TD and didn't work every day I'd be up to meeting others. I keep saying 'One of these days'!!

I wouldn't say FLSDAC is dead, its members are spread all over the state. That plus work schedules etc makes it difficult to plan a get together.

Rick pretty much nailed it. We are still around, but we are all spread out. I did make it Garlits last year and was the only old school FWD car there for the judged day. We actually had 5 FL people that made it to the SDAC convention this year too.

Me too. Last time I tried to organize a meet at Lakeland Dragway, no one said they would make it, then they closed the track for good, lol

I am planning on heading out to Old Town tomorrow night as it is the monthly MOPAR gathering of cars. Never been on MOPAR nights and will be bringing my GLHS
