We have an 88 Daytona Shelby Z turbo II intercooled with a 2.2. The turbo seals blew, lost all oil and then the motor blew. And I mean BLEW.only thing left that is good is the top half(head, manifolds, etc.) My question is: we have(had) a stock 2.2 TII. I have found an engine shop with a 2.2 TIV long block on sale, all turbo rated parts. What is the difference, if any, between the two blocks TII vs TIV.
