OK,LOL your engine is a 3.9 right. you will need to removes a good amount of the engine. if you pull the radiator out you may be able to replace them in the truck. but I would just pull the motor to make it easier. I wander why you feel you need to replace the bearings? they rarely go bad on these motors.
No, not unless the motor is very worn out. I have installed new cams in motors that have had well over 100,000 miles!!!! install the cam you'll be fine! you will have to have new lifters. you shouldn't install old lifters on a new cam!Hi & thanks for contact,- I think if a new camshaft comes in, do you change the bearings with the same?
