For those running a vacuum block, how are you routing vacuum lines to the wastegate solenoid and wastegate canister?

I just want to make sure I do it correctly. Pics would be fantastic if readily available.

If your running computer controlled boost, (smartest thing so boost could be reduced by the computer if needed), your simply using a fitting on the vac block as your "manifold vac/pressure source" as shown on your underhood vacuum diagram. Or go vac block, to MBC, to actuator
Edit: crap, do turbos on t3 engines have a pressure source on the compressor housing to use for boost control? You may opt for that if it keeps it cleaner looking

Hey all I'm new to the TIII and I'm wondering what in the world this vacuum block looks lie and where you attache this thing?! Where do I hook up the hose for the sensor on the passenger side? I tried hooking up without it and the car runs all apeshit! I don't know what to do now but my brother in law is wanting to use the car now. Don't know what to tell him..he owns the thing and I was only trying to help. Hopefully I can get the darn thing running before work tomorrow!

Hey Iturbo, are you being serious right now? I think after 4690 posts and being a member since 2003, you're pretty familiar with vacuum blocks and the mounting location of them.

If your response was an attempt to be funny and sarcastic to poke fun of a less experienced TD'er, you've just succeeded in becoming a horses ass. I would expect this from a Chevy or honda guy, not from the TD community.

If it was a serious posting, then apologies. I hope you get your answer.

OK, well you busted me. April 1st is coming up quick! I'm a horses ass all the way but I just don't care much anymore with the internet. It's good not to take yourself too seriously sometimes. I've installed many many vacuum blocks on TI/TII/TIII engines for whatever that is worth. I did not mean to poke fun at lesser experienced turbo dodge guys at all and I'm all for helping those guys out but humor is good, right?

As far as your wastegate solenoid vacuum line question.....forget all that and just run a grainger valve. Keep the wastegate solenoid plugged in electrically, but delete the vacuum lines going to it. Your heart and right foot will thank you.

Pretty sure I've been a member of turbododge.com since it started. Back in '99 or so when it became popular after the mailing lists fell out of favor. Just think of all the things I could have accomplished if it weren't for browsing car forums and such! I should be out there in my garage petting the shop cat/powder coating/assembling stuff now.
