LOL I don't think you will have any luck given those criteria ;).
hehe.

I have a V-4. I cut my motor in half and made it into a v. :p
What criteria should i have then? I thought it was quite generic
Now that everyone's had their chuckle, I believe they are referring to the fact that Turbo Dodges are all I-4s, rather than V-4s. Also, V-6s were not offered in Shelby Dodges.
Correction

Thanx guess i didnt post correctly thank you for correcting me. I Would like a MANUAL Shelby or Turbo also i would like it to be reasonable rust free. It can need a pint job or some body work. Along with SOME mechanical work. Thank you. [email protected]

Sorry Forza, Just had to chuckle.

Rhetoric, TD's were I4's of 2.5L or 2.2L displacement. These cars can make as much torque as an ls1 engine done properly. I couldn't even imagine what we could get from a V-6 (done right)

It's relatively easy to get one of these I4's into the 300 whp (360 or so crank) hp level with 320-360 ft lbs (again 360-400 crank) levels.

While you don't know the cars, you certainly do know how to use the rep button. Sorry if I offended you. It was ALL in good fun.

You've come to the right place to pick up a car for a song... The potential is all in how serious you want to be. Want to walk 5.0's on the street, no problem, After bigger fish, that can be done too. This board is the best resource for making it happen
Got a silver 89 shelby daytona, needs paint, but nice and straight, one small rust are aon the 1/4 lip, inner part. See my ad, pics there... its an auto, but the price is right! I'm near Pittsburgh, so a little far....
Didn't the iroc shelbys, not a true shelby car, but they had some with v6s!

yeh they were iroc(international racing of champions) but not shelby related. :)
they may have shared the Shelby name part of 91 and 92 years. I have seen a 92 and 91s with shelby and Iroc on them
I have personally had my hands on 91 and 92 Daytona IROC's with the SHELBY decal. All were 8 valve 2.5 turbo 1 motors.

It seems to have been the luck of the draw as to which one's had them. My understanding is that Shelby's partnership with Chrysler ended mid 91, and these decals were unauthorized.

I believe they were supposed to have all had the small IROC decals on the hood and rear bumper...rumor is that these "Shelby" IROC's were cars for upper management.

Anyone have any other info?

Paul
I had a question, which do you guys prefer.. RWD or FWD?
Believe it or not, I like the FWD'ers. Yes, they have issues... But its a challenge. And with these cars, we do not have a choice.
is there a paticular reason you like FWD's?
It's a challenge. You can get any RWD car to hook and go. Try doing that with a FWD. These cars are sleepers. The look on a muscle-car owners face when he rolls up next to you looks over and chuckles is priceless when your front tires start spinning by his open drivers window at 70 mph and you are gone like a shot. Of course that's after you look back and laugh and he punches it first.

I've had every reaction from Jaw dropping, to astonished looks and wild laughter to getting flipped the bird. I've been followed to gas stations (buying race gas) just so the guy could find out how the hell I beat him. When they hear no nitrous they are even more astonished.

I'm 41. These cars are toys.
