Hey everyone,

I seem to have misplaced my front sway bar putting my GLH back together. Car is a 1986 Omni GLH. I have poly suspension bits all around as well as the Koni struts. I would like to see if I can't find another sway bar for the front, and the options for end links. I plan on auto crossing this car with maybe one day road racing or time attack. Let me know what you guys think for the best options and what you might have out there. Thank you!

I have a 1-1/4 bar but it's an EEK bar (G/H/P/.. body) ..
would have to be shortened ~1" on each end to fit an L ;
(cheap, msg me if interested ..)

drilling/tapping the end of the bar for spherical end sway bar links (to replace the LCA bushing end) seems to be the best upgrade for the stock style sway bar
haven't done it myself but saw a write-up on it

The bar I got is just not fitting, it hits the control arms no matter what I do. Even with the car on the ground. Maybe it's because I have the stamped arms? Maybe a different kind is required to make this bar fit?

Anyone else have any other solutions?
Thanks.

Hey detobias,

No fault of yours. Don't worry! As far as I know I know we both understood this option works for some cars, Ive seen it online before too. It just did not for mine.

If someone else would like to try and get this bar to work in their car, it is professionally drilled/tapped 1/2-20 for spherical end links and shortened 1.5" I think I went. Get it cheap! haha.
