i have heard that the cheapest lightest seats to replace the stock seats in an 88 daytona are the manual seats from a shadow. if this is indeed true, do the shadow seats fit directly to stock mounts/brackets in the daytona? and if not, then how do you mount them?

That power seat weighs like 50lbs man lol.... I swapped out my power seats in my Daytona for a non-power set when I swapped interiors.. you won't believe how much it weighs till you try and get that sucker out. :thumb:

when i gutted my car... i put the power seat on an old bathroom scale i have in my garage to guess how much a scrap run will bring me and it was about 80lbs... hahaha pretty terrible considering the driver weighs 150 soaking wet on a great day

80lbs sounds about right, I almost pulled my back out when I first grabbed it

alright guys, lol, so back to my first question, do the shadow seats bolt right in to the daytona er what? if not, what have you guys swapped in?

I know that the spirit and shadow seats are the same bolt in style. what does the pattern look like in daytona. shadow seats have two bolts on the left front, one on the right and one on each back this is for driver side. is that close to daytona? thats the only turbo dodge car I have never owned so dont know what they look like inside.
