I figured it out . The blower plugs into it . Turns out the blower plug was slightly different because I was using a blower off of a lebaron . I spliced the right plug onto the blower from the Daytona
Referring to blower motor issue I ran across this a couple times---that sometimes the blower motor depending on what or who mfg it---wires may have to be swapped to change it to correct rotation--- direction at this point in time I can't remember what the wire colors are---with replacement blower motors there's a note inside the box stating this issue of wire swap for correct rotation because they mfg a generic motor
it's been 20 + years since I did the auto temp swap , lebaron to daytona but if I remember correctly the sound isolater thingadojig was different as might be the plug on the fan motor
if anyone considers that swap remember the digital control is nice as is the variable speed fan rather than the std 3 or 4 speed fan..but the auto temp adjust maintaining feature sucks horse balls
