These seats have been hogging up space in my shed for 10 years, time to get them out. I don't want the weight in my van (daily) and if I sell the van eventually, will the buyer want them (more years in the shed). They need to be cleaned if used.

Have others just taken them to the dump?

Craig's list, etc?

take the backs off the seats
screw some casters to the rear of the seat backs
now you have the most comfy mechanics creepers to be had..
Holy crap, why did I not think of this, brilliant

oh
pop up TD tip

the older style wooden mechanics creepers ... are JUST strong enough to hold up a 2.2 and it's transmission

I've ALWAYS used one to move the motors in and out from the car through the arch of the frame and passenger side wheel well

they make a nice low profile "cart" just for this one job

The old lady and I did this to the back and bottom of a rear Spirit seat. So we each have one lol

Meanwhile our minivan bench just takes up space in our barn...
