Where to tap fuel level wire

Just trying to hook up the very last wire for my traveller. I need to tie into the fuel level wire. I assumed it came up the passenger side over the top of the rocker panel but I havent found it, Iv heard conflicting reports of it being blue or blue with yellow stripe. Can anyone confirm this for me and guide me to where the wire travels between the pump and the dash. Id tie in at the dash but I would rather not rip the whole dash out again and just tie into it somewhere thats easy to get at.
