I don't know. We, on the Dakota convertible forum, would always ask the same thing. Sadly mine was totaled by an inattentive driver. I did buy my daytona with insurance money though.This thread was started almost 7 years ago and only 20-25 people actually posted they had a VNT Daytona.
How many from 6-7 years ago still have them and I asked this question before...
Where are the other 500+ VNT Daytona's?

Welcome To TD!!!1990 Daytona Shelby VNT - 26,626 ORIGINAL. Garaged w/original tires. Only change is Eibach’s. Stock springs are in a box. Basically one owner. My dad bought it, and I bought it from him. Driven 100 miles per year the last 6 years up to 2017. I didn’t drive it in 2017, but I took it out, warmed it up regularly, and gave it a coat of fresh wax. Sits under a cover in a warm garage with a tender on it. I love the car. Hoping some day the market will respond to their rarity.
