Could someone please tell me if the rear trailing arm axle from an 87 Daytona Turbo Z will fit in a 93 Daytona (base model)?

Yep. All of the K-based cars are the same. P,G,J,H,A,E,K Watch the mounting bushings, replace if they are worn.
