WTB: TI Daytona radiator

Hey everybody,

Alot of you guys convert your cars to the intercooled setup...there must be a very clean, good, newer radiator out there just lying around.

Before buying a new one off eBay, I figured I'd try to put some cash in a fellow enthusiests pocket.

Car is a 1992 model...earlier years may work. I think the V-6 model is the same too. I need this to fit with no problems or modifications.

This needs to be shipped to area code 61360. Please send me your prices (a new radiator can be obtained for $90 delivered, obviously I'd prefer to pay less).

Thanks and have a good one,

Paul

Paul, 91 and up radiators will fit in your application. After 91 the Spirit's, Shadows, and Daytonas all share the same core support layout and radiators.

I should be getting that 92 Sundance America soon from my buddy and I know it's got a good radiator from Shakey's old 91 Shelby Daytona in it. Of course the price is the usual, buy my food at the next meeting and it's yours. If your going on Saturday I can try to pick the car up before then and bring it, otherwise let me know when you want to meet up or what not.
Hey Dave,

If it's a good radiator, yes I'll take it. Do you know if it's a newer one, or an original in good shape?

The one I'm running in my Daytona doesn't leak. The problem is that it just doesn't keep the motor quite as cool as it should. The temp gauge slowly creeps up the scale, and after a half hour drive, it's sitting at the 3/4 mark. I've tried blowing it out. Also tried covering up all the large factory holes in the core support, to force more air into the radiator. I've even checked my timing, and hollowed out my cat. Spool-up and power is where it should be, so I know my cam timing is correct. The car doesn't use or leak any coolant either...so it's gotta be that the original radiator is getting coked up.

If you could bring it to the meeting, that would be great. I'll spot you for the meal. Would you please try to remember the reciept for the tires from Rob's Shadow? Also, I think I asked you if you had a temp sensor for the traveler computer...mine must be shot because it always reads that it's -31 degrees outside!

Thanks Dave, you always seem to come through in a pinch!
