no there is not a build thread. there was suppossed to be no published pics of the car until the customer had possesion of it. hahahahaha. oh well. as for the filled mouldings that was accomplished with fiber reinforced filler topped with regular filler. they were roughed up before applying filler. this is the second g body i did it to (mine was first) there is another body mod see if you notice it

Very nice! Where/how did you polish the outer rim edge? Mine are pitted and need polishing.

Oh, I noticed it. ;) :thumb: I've been planning to do the same to mine for a while. I've got some ideas floating in my head for some other things that I've never seen other people do as well. I'm not letting the cat out of the bag until I accomplish it, though! :cool:

What's with boxing in the passenger's side?

what was the other mod you picked up on ? most don't even notice it.

boxing on passenger side has been replicated on the drivers side. it is smoothing everything from the firewall forward around the radiator.no factory inner fenders here.

why does your driver side engine mount look that way?

It has to do with something orange. It is very subtle, you are correct, but makes a HUGE difference. Jackson does the same to his cars. I've been wanting to do it for years, but am just finally in the position to be able to do it.

Nice on the smoothing. Something else I dig, but I won't be doing it to my cars because I don't want to loose any room. I might try a semi-wire tuck, though.

Looks good with the side markers all shaved but for some reason I still like the black trim.

I really like those rims, gun metal with polished lips work really good on a red Daytona!

those are volk le37's 17x7.5 they are light but not cheap and no longer available only te37's. they were nice but i prefered the mesh wheels. pushing for the roadrace /euro look . it looked clean until i let other people drive it . i watch my friend back into a tree in the yard that he grew up in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! his dad came out and said yep he has backed every car he has owned into it !!!!!!!!!!!

nope but it is only a car just an excuse to build the other shell to level of stupidity with body mods.

found this picture the car about a week after i got it non running i just swapped my 5 star wheels on cause i got rid of my crabs, the wife was thankful !

here is where all hell broke loose on this car http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2669570/1987-dodge-daytona honey it will be running in a month (two years a month whats the difference)
