Question about hooking up air fuel gauge on 87 GLHS?

The instructions tell me to hook up the gauge to the signal wire. My manual for these cars only show one wire in the diagram. But my car has three wires. Which is the signal wire?The wires look to be blk, blk/wht and blue.

the black one.
inexplicably, ChryCo used "Black" for some signal wires ?!

the other 2 are +12V & ground for the heating element in yur 'heated' oxygen sensor
