spool time vs. psi

i noticed when i had my MBC hooked up and set to 12 psi, it would spool crazy fast.. usually faster than i'd like it to (when i was trying to stay stealthy around cops even driving slow, it'd spool like crazy and blow off stupid loud) well, i took the MBC out and its running off the factory wastegate actuator solenoid. i understand how the MBC and solenoid work,(bleeding off the boost till the desired amount is reached then cutting off the bleed to let the wastegate do it's job) i noticed with the more boost i run, the quicker the spool up. but my question is, when running less boost, is there a way to make it spool faster without increasing the boost?

well, i liked the quick spool and i want it back, but there were certain times i didnt like it (mainly night time downtoan driving when noises are more noticable and cops have nothing better to do than pull you over) my MBC was a dual stage turboXS unit so i used to drive around on the second stage and set the first stage for about 6-7 psi so when i didnt want the BOV to be loud (hard to do with an RFL) i would put it on stage 1 so it wouldnt spool unless i really laid into it. is there a way i could use my MBC to get a quicker spool but no boost increase? or can you only do that with an electronic boost controller?

the electronic ones if you buy a good one are very percise
the greddy profec b spec II is amazing, high low boost settings, and as well you can adjust the "gain" of the boost level, you can set it to hit 14psi quickly or slowly build to that.

I plan on using one, but may only go with an older greddy profec with only the one boost setting but you can change the settings from your driver seat
