I'm getting my 87 Daytona on the road finally (87 T1 converted to 89 blow through no intercooler yet), and have noticed a problem with the BOV. I can hear it start to leak boost as soon as my AutoMeter boost gauge starts reading pressure in the intake. If I keep on it long enough it'll still go to 7-8 psi of boost, and I get that cool BOV sound when I let off the throttle, but it's leaking no matter what.
It's the stock BOV out of the 89 Caravan airbox that gave me the intake assembly.
I hooked up the "IN" line, left the output open, and there's a small hose fitting (1/8") on the other end of the BOV that is currently unhooked because I didn't know where it goes. Maybe that's the problem?
There's no air cleaner assembly AT ALL on the car yet. Just the open turbo inlet.
