Can i swap a dohc head into a sohc block?

Hey guys... i have a 1991 dodge stealth sohc.. i wanna get more power so i wannna swap the heads from an es modle or a mitsu 3000gt sl modle.... has anyone done this or is it even possible???

are there any major upgrades that i can do to get major noticable power... sofar all i have is a short ram intake and a cat-back exhaust... as far a headers all i found was some from 3sx.com but they are worth a pretty penny...... any suggestions there??

Between the SOHC engine and DOHC engine, there are VERY few common parts between them. They include the rear main seal and retainer, water pump housing (pump itself is different because of the pulley) crankshaft, connecting rods, and maybe one other small item I cannot think of. The blocks have substancial differences. The only way it can happen is to install an entire DOHC engine into there.

I just got done rebuilding the twin turbocharged engine in my '92 Stealth.
