when it idels the car shakes and squeels, i can`t get it to 3 grand with out a horiblie knocking noise and when i put it in to reverse it dies if i dont floor it Immediately it does the same when changing from reverse to drive. does anyone know what to do to fix this?

It sounds to me like you need a new engine. If the engine is knocking badly, there can be so much friction in the motor that it won't idle. I had a friend who put his main bearing caps on backwards, and all I can say is boy did that engine squeal when he started it up! Pull the oil pan and see if there are any surprises sitting in the bottom.
