Which is better ???

So I have a 1992 A523 with 3.77 FDR VS 1987 A555 3.85 FDR

application is for an L body running 250hp (for now)

they both are in running cars and i am not sure which way to go ..
i also have a chrome moly plate for the 555 ready to install,

any thoughts ?

The 523 shifts better/faster/smoother, the case is stronger, it has a lower FDR so highway cruising will be better on the 205/50 15 tire size Omni's run. Although I like the 3.50 geared 523's better.

Which is better ???
