I need to find the stock exhaust diameters from the turbo back on my 88 Daytona Shelby Z. I had them, but misplaced them. Everything on this car is stock (Garrett turbo, blah blah blah), and the exhaust is starting to go and I'm thinking of replacing everything. If I remember right, the turbo has a 2.25" down pipe- can anyone confirm? Thinking of running the same size pipe all the way back (I do know there is a "step down" in pipe size at some point).

When i replace the stock system on mine it was 2.25 CAT to the rear axle, but then went to 2" for some reason.
Just buy a FWDP 2.5" kit. I was very impressed with the how it fit on a friends 91 Lebaron GTC. Good sound too with the Magnaflow. It fits with all the stock hangers (we cut the stock ones off and welded them to the 2.5" kit, without banging anywhere.
